A New Perspective on Time

There have been moments in the evolution of my life where I felt like I am actually on the path that I am meant to be on and aligned in that present moment. And then there are the detours- life’s trials and tribulations that all have their jewels of truth in the way of lessons, whether they come with ease and grace or the force of a Mack truck. The detours are somehow crucial to our evolution and growth, each lesson bringing us to the next level. The realignment with “the path” in the upgraded reality is the validation that there is purpose to this journey. This Earth-walk.
As I grow deeper into my own mystical faith I begin to see all the lessons and words and ancient teachings coming alive in my own experience. It is in this moment when the “mystical” becomes my own truth and not something I read about in books that I begin to have a deeper Faith in my own path and purpose. All these lessons and detours are part of my path, my journey and ultimately held within the destination as well, always leading me back to Source.
I have become more aware of divine timing by gaining a deeper understanding of time as a non-linear concept and belief. It is within this awareness that time can stretch and lengthen assisting in giving order to the Chaos that had previously defined my life in a time-restricted paradigm. The anxiety about there not being enough time forced me to look beyond my previous beliefs and understanding of how my reality existed within barriers and limits that created a contracted experience rather than an expansive experience. When the concept of time unravels I begin to see the limitless potential that we have as healers of ourselves, each other and our world.
All that ever has been and will be exists now in this very moment. Time in not linear in the way that we have been taught to believe. In this way of understanding, healing becomes a gentler process as we can heal not only in this moment but in the past and see the healing in our future as well.
My 10 year old daughter said something really interesting the other day regarding time travel. She said “even if we haven’t discovered time travel yet, don’t you think that we will figure it out eventually? Even if it takes thousands of years? So either way it exists now and our future selves will come back and help us to make sure that we do things the right way.” I have had experiences in this life where I have felt communication and advice from the future self. I didn’t fully understand how this was possible at the time but as my perspective of time shifts I am beginning to understand. We are not alone. We are not a single point on the map at a specific point in time. We are infinite beings, and we are in this together.
The expansion I feel when I let go of the stale constricts of time as we’ve know it is exhilarating. It allows the potential of Prayer and the connection to God and All That Is to expand exponentially.
What a wonderful time to be alive!
